COLLECTING MOMENTS, NOT THINGS.
Hey, friends! I'm Shanea.
I am a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician and a certified CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS Instructor. Most days you can find me drinking an iced lavender latte or just a regular dark roasted coffee (addicted!), listening to my Apple Music playlist, being the homebody that I am, wondering how the heck I've become so un-cool. Oh! and forcing my pandemic puppies Araminta and Xena to snuggle. If there's a good bowl of ramen within a hundred-mile radius, you better believe I will find it. I'm a huge adventurer and I love to go camping, forging for food out in nature, hiking, and traveling, especially if the trip includes a mountain-top panoramic view. Although I find comfort in being secluded, I am the most extroverted of extroverts and have never met a stranger - my friends often say that I'm the type of person you feel immediately comfortable with.
MY APPROACH
Though I do give a couple of traditional portraits, forcing everyone to smile for more than a few seconds just isn't my jam. It might be because I still have some PTSD from my itchy tights in the Olan Mills days, or also the fact that I know exactly how it feels to ONLY have images left to look back on. I strive to capture the love and beauty of your family so your memories are cherished in a VERY special way.
